Corsair 4000D - PC Case Design Refresh
As part of my internship at Huge Design, I helped redesign Corsair’s previously best-selling PC case, resulting in the Corsair Frame 4000D—a bold evolution of the original. Tasked with strict design constraints, we focused on reimagining the front face to visually express high airflow performance while integrating the I/O along the bottom front edge. Our solution was a sculptural, deeply perforated front panel that maximizes ventilation and adds a distinctive, technical aesthetic. The offset frame creates visual depth, while the recessed I/O is cleanly integrated to maintain clarity and usability. Every detail—from the pattern geometry to the floating structure—was designed to reflect performance, precision, and the Corsair brand’s engineering-driven DNA.
